A Newsletter To Help You Enjoy The Sunrise By Opening The Windows Of Opportunities September 2016

Looking up from her morning newspaper, Priyanka smells smoke and sees her kitchen curtains near the stove in flames.

What should Priyanka do -
(a) butter her toast and continue reading the news, or
(b) do something about the rapidly spreading fire?

Whether Priyanka runs towards the curtains with a bucket of water or calls the Fire Department, no one would say that a better use of her time would be to finish eating her breakfast!

Like Priyanka, each one of us have to face various kinds of decisions, some of them tougher than others. Unlike her, the choices we have to make are not too obvious.

Would you like to be a doctor, lawyer, chef, musician, or cricketer?

Decisions, decisions and decisions, they surround us all, clamoring for attention. But only the right decision at the right time and the right place can help us reap the best results.

Time management is not about taking too many decisions instantly but about taking the right decision at the right time.

Tips on Time Management:

• Put First Things First - Tackle the most important things first, things that have to get done and cannot wait.

• Design your own Time-Table to help you make time for studies and hobbies.

• Are you a morning person? A night owl? Plan your study habits around your own personal preferences. Start with the subjects you like the least. Save the fun stuff for last, this will help you keep coming back.

• No matter how much you try, you will not get more than 24 hours a day. The trick is to keep planning and to be focused. Nobody Plans to Fail, People Fail to Plan!
