Marine Biology is a branch of science that deals with all the marine organisms and how they interact with their environment. It deals with the study of environmental conditions like salinity, water temperature, pH, light, oxygen content, etc.
The main focus of marine biology is research, the search for new food, monitoring of water pollution and the study of endangered species. The main areas of specialization are biochemistry, pathological science, ecology, anatomical science, ocean farming science, development science, reproduction science, parasitism science, conservation science, etc.
In order to become a Marine biologist, you will need to go through many years of training. You will have to go through 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry & Biology followed by 2 years M.Sc in Marine Biology / Oceanography. After that, you can pursue Ph.D.(Ph.D. Programs) to further develop your research skills.
